This is a 10 Week (30 hour) unit on the Geography of the USA I built and taught to my Year 5 class. We started in New York and each week moved onto a different State or region of the USA. Each "Week" folder contains the PPT, lesson plan and resources needed to teach for that week which should equate to 2 or 3 hours of lessons. Where videos or music are needed I've inserted the Youtube link or suggested where you can find the music from.

I have copied all of the Reasoning questions from Paper 2 and 3 of the 2017 Maths SATs (a.k.a the two reasoning papers). Each question is on its own slide so they can be slotted in to lesson starters or used for Morning or Afternoon Work. I have added a prompt to some slides to guide understanding or teaching. This would be good for Year 6, or even Year 5, to give them a daily taste of the questions they might see during SATs.

A blank 1000AD to 2000AD timeline, with 10 year integers marked between the centuries. Great for lessons when you want children to put historical data onto a timeline. The Powerpoint can be edited as required if you want to change the range of years. The JPG is useful for quickly dropping a timeline into a worksheet without all of the date boxes falling out of alignment.
