This is a comparison of the two poems from the WJEC Anthology. The answer compares ‘To Autumn and Hawk Roosting.’ Each paragraph is about the content, theme, atmosphere and language. This is suitable for a lower/middle ability and is NOT complete. The final paragraph requires the students to complete a paragraph on the mood in the poems. The students could be given the mark scheme first the they have two highlight the Assessment Objectives or connectives used which makes it a successful comparison. This is a Grade 6 answer, used to convey the structure of an ideal answer.
