This set of resources includes an exam paper, mark scheme and grade boundaries for the first half of Learning Aim A, covering venues and live performance, health, safety and security and production and promotion. It has been used successfully for the end of half term assessments for BTEC Music students.

With the recent change in requirements this year for Q-TAGs, specifically the change in the evidence required for these, we found this assessment for Unit 2: Managing a Music Product really useful in creating further evidence for this unit. Especially as there was no formal requirement for the assignment briefs to be completed in the usual way. This is a 29 mark assessment and grade boundary document that is ready to hand out to students. It tests the knowledge and understanding required to meet the Unit 2 criteria. This should take approximately 45 minutes for students to complete.
