(1)
The following slides include a variety of Paper 1, Question 1 questions on 19th, 20th and 21st texts. I have used the following texts: Great Expectations, 1984, To Kill a Mocking Bird, Of Mice and Men, Wuthering Heights, Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice, Animal Farm, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and Brave New World. These can be used as starters, plenaries, tests or set as homework by the class teacher. They are differentiated with some texts and questions that are easier than others; therefore they could be printed and given to students as a differentiated activity. The slides include the answers in purple which are set to come in on animation when viewed as a slideshow. To print, I would recommend saving two versions and then deleting the answers from one of the PowerPoints and printing them as slides. If you like this resource please see my Paper 1, Question 1. Paper 1, Question 2 and Paper 1, Question 4 lessons. Other questions to follow.
