An activity for pupils to match the description with the character from the Shakespeare play The Tempest.

This is a plan I used for an observation in Year One and got graded outstanding. This was using the ‘ay’ grapheme but can be changed to use any sound.

This is an activity I did with a Year 4 class after watching Blue Planet on DVD. The children also found some facts on the different oceans. This was an activity children loved and came up with some of their own facts.
