Adapted from ideas found on the web, a book review template initially made to accompany Y5 Unit on significant authors. May also be useful for book clubs/library/homework.

Bookmark style card for children's targets, which can be kept on tables as they work on different subjects. Cut out and fold in half so literacy on one side, numeracy on the other. Could be laminated if wished. Write targets in oblong shape, record date achieved in circle below. When achieved three times, move on to the next target, writing this in the next oblong shape immediately below.

I use these cards during registration so the children can get straight into an activity. Many of them involve making a list so not wonderfully imaginative but they get the children into some great debates! Some of the cards are not quite finished - very much `work in progress.'
