7 week SOW (double lessons) for year 8 Media Studies covering film and genre. Begins with a viewing of Super 8 and then works through a series of lessons including reviewing, mise-en-scene, storyboarding, lighting, script work with industry details embedded throughout. Enjoyable and varied tasks.

A 9 week SOW (ready to teach) covering the internet in an introductory style for year 8 Media Studies. Covers blogs, vlogs and podcasts and end with a practical task. Most of the scheme should be completed in small groups (music, film, TV and gaming).

A completed LTP and 5 SOWs suitable for introducing Media Studies at Year 7. A range of fun activities and assessments included.
