There is one sheet per topic in both Christianity and Islam beliefs, teachings and practices. I have then input all sections for the 6 thematic topics. In peace and conflict I have alloted a section for 9/11 as this is covered in the unit. This covers all aspects of Christianity and Islam.

This assessment can be used at the start of Year 8 as a baseline test and also for any new pupils who join any time throughout the academic year.

This booklet was created on power point and can be printed off for use at Parents’ Evenings and on Open Days. I have colour-coded the level descriptors with a matching example. The AT1 & AT2 level descriptors correlate with the 9 -1 GCSE levels. This is especially useful when setting assessments.

This can be used to assess a pupil’s level for the beginning of Year 8 Religious Studies pupils and for new pupils joining mid-term.
