PPT focusing on place value within 20. I have used during this ppt during consolidation weeks. I have included sentence stems from maths mastery to link our learning. I have also used numberblock 10 and numberblock 20 as ten frames. Children are asked to say the number bond they can see represented. There are a few slides looking at a numberline to 20, and a few looking at double 5, 10 and 20. I used a few slides for short carpet input before children went to complete maths activities (I do not use all slides in one go - death by ppt otherwise!)

Number stories activties based on Mr Gumpy’s Outing. Introducing the idea of addition and subtraction sentences. Used alongside White Rose Maths Year 1 Autumn: Addition and Subtraction within 10. Two slides to be used in conjunction with reading the book ‘Mr Gumpy’s Outing’. 4 table activities the children can access independently exploring number sentences/number stories.
