Two fully resourced lessons about the causes of the Civil War. The first focuses on what slavery was and how it began disquiet. The second expands on the other reasons for the outbreak of the Civil War. No books are needs as fact cards, worksheets and clips are included.

Lesson uses fact cards (included) to challenge students to create an A3 information sheet (Template included) about what caused the American Civil War, then prioritise the reasons for it.
