I have used model assignment one to create a detailed PowerPoint which outlines (using the unit content) all the information necessary to include in task 2. I have translated the grading criteria into 'pupil speak'. I have also included a front sheet that we will put in learners work so they can tick off everything that needs to be included in order to get the best marks. It also has the criteria for marking so students/staff can clearly see where marks can be awarded.

I have used model assignment one to create a detailed PowerPoint which outlines (using the unit content) all the information necessary to include in this first task. I have translated the grading criteria into 'pupil speak' and added the group task which is referred to in the PowerPoint. I have also included a front sheet that we will put in learners work so they can tick off everything that needs to be included in order to get the best marks. It also has the criteria for marking so students/staff can clearly see where marks can be awarded.

I got this idea from pinterest, as I teach in an all girls school, Little Miss Characters were perfect. I have printed these out on two slides per page, laminated them, cut them out and then hole punched them and hung them on colourful lanyards. This makes it really easy for staff to give them out to any non-doers at the start of the lesson and the students have tasks they must complete independently.

I have out together a list of where exam questions correlate to each topic on the specification. I have printed out past papers in the order below, page numbered them and then got them bound as a booklet for students to practice each topic. If you did the same, students could easily use this content page to work on a topic after you have covered in a lesson. Or they could use this to revise certain topics. The topics are divided into assignments (which is how we do exam prep, these assignments will also be uploaded on tes). Questions booklet pages Paper 1 – January 2014 – pg. 2-9 Paper 2 – May 2014 – pg. 11-20 Paper 3 – January 2015 – pg. 21-31 Paper 4 – May 2015 – pg. 33-42 Paper 5 – January 2016 – pg. 43-53 Paper 6 – May 2016 – pg. 55-66 Paper 7 – May 2017 – pg. 67-77

I use these to introduce Sport education and then to carry it through a block of activity. Use the intro to explain the roles and how it works. I print the team sheets on some coloured card that the teams fill in each week, the back has a place they can write targets to improve their performance. And then the Gain points poster reinforces positive things that the students can pick up points for in the lessons.

Good to use at the start of a block to see where the group is and again at the end to map progress. Print and laminate and leave around the gym for students to carry out independently.
