I’ve created a pictorial photo card speaking mat for students to refer to when describing two photos. It is intended for use with the NEW AQA French GCSE photo description task and encourages students to talk about both photos. It works through common language to describe photos following the PALM method of people > action > location > mood. It looks really good and can be very useful printed double sided in colour and laminated, as shown in the picture.

This is a PowerPoint I’ve used before for French GCSE intervention classes. It works through the key questions, verbs, and how to give extended answers in the past, present and future. Lots of activities to practise, so I hope that it can be of use.
