These power points are ideal for someone who is new to teaching, they can be used alone, however, do require some additional input e.g exam questions, or additional tasks by the teacher.
The textbooks often waffle a lot, each power point should last approximately 40 minute lesson / some can be stretched over 2 x 40 minute lessons.

This bundle is the main PPT’s I have used to teach the 2 year IGCSE Envrironmental Management course for CIE, there is obviously exam questions / textbook and other resources available to supplement this. However, the PPTs could save you hours of time, on a weekly basis having the PPT’s ready to go.
I hope you enjoy using them, students taught using these and additional material always have scored well in final examinations.
As always student engagement is the main factor in any grades awarded.
I hope they save you time and energy if you decide to purchase the bundle.

Resource has been designed to show the thought process involved when tackling a question.
Showing step by step, how a student should be able to relate learned content and apply.
Also contains self reflection at the end.
Contains worksheet for students to work through and a M/S for thought.
Question and m/s. 6 marks
Best way to use this:
Hand out exam question only:
Give students 6 minutes to answer it.
Students close / turn over work sheet.
Leave exam question on board for students to refer to.
Work through the thought process guide.
Then compare to original answers.
This activity could take 20-30 minutes or longer depending on how you wish to use it talk in between.
Complete reflection.
Most students would rush this question and lose 3 mark or more, bright students should be able to gain maximum marks (have additional extension sheet ready for these students)
The resource pack includes 4 power points, these power points include:
Asexual and sexual reproduction Part 1 and 2
Flower structure
Fertilisation and seed formation
This should cover 1-2 weeks of learning in class, in which you can also do flower dissections to reinforce content learned. there is also a flower booklets fill in the gap, activity in TES you can download that is quite good, however, I do not own that content so I cannot included it here.
More suited for A*- B students looking for maximum marks, can be used as a basis to build lower high quality content for lower ability classes.

This contains most of the LO’s of the topics Coordination, I have included various homeostasis examples linked to both nervous and chemical responses to external stimuli.
Included 1 PPT on plant chemical coordination also.
This resource is again designed to be used for mainly teacher led, however, the resources can be amended but provide a great basis for NQT’s, new to teaching who may find it hard to find the key parts of the course / LO’s).
Within this chapter there a variation practicals included eye and kidney dissections (info instructions can be found on TES by other authors FREE e.g. Cow eye dissections.
I have also included some previous exam papers (this are free online from Edexcel qualifications IGCSE, and have been included for reference, I do not own or sell these exam papers), I am selling the PPT’s for the time and effort taken to create them.
I also use the resources from beckystoke a paid author worksheets to support this material (not included in this bundle)
I have attached the lesson plan + general resources for this group activity:
This is best carried out over a double lesson, this is a student centred review activity, however, you can use this in a various forms.
The idea in general involves 3 teams, each start with 50 points.
Each group will have an A2 sheet of paper and a different colour marker.
Each A2 sheet will have a title Acid rain / Ozone or Global warming.
I would suggest putting a brighter group with the Ozone title.
Students will spend 5 minutes at one table adding as many notes as they can recall from sources , effects, etc.
After 5 minutes the students will rotate with their group / pens to the next table.
Students will then contribute and or correct the previous groups work with their markers.
Students will then rotate until each group has contributed to every A2 sheet and have returned to their original table.
Students will have 5 minutes to review all the information, then will be provided with the exam questions, for their group located in the PPT.
Each group has tip cards (should be stored in an envelope) then issued when a group wants it, these clues are more cryptic than just standard answers, but they come at a price. In reality it is worth paying points for all clues to gain maximum marks.
Students will have a minute a mark on their answering sheet printed in A3.
Rotate again and go through the answers.
General as a class all the answers are located on the A2 sheet they contributed to, however, rarely do they gain maximum marks due to either conflict or doubt in the information the entire class provided.
This is a particularly useful resource for reflection the review is based on my personal previous cohort of the IGCSE Biology, this highlights areas of confusion and weakness of the class in their final examination of June 2018 BR.
I have included the exam paper 1BR and 2BR with MS this is free on the Edexcel website, but I put in the reference for the report.
The price is for the time and effort into highlighting weaknesses and explaining questions in paper 1BR they got wrong only, paper 2BR includes the entire paper review and explaining the question and how to answer it with relevant MP’s.
This is a useful resource for students / teachers if you use this paper as a mock for independent reflection.
The reflection pays attention to vocabulary definitions, application of knowledge, exam technique and HSW and explaining precision / accuracy / reliability differences.
You can issue this paper as an internal Mock / revision and provide the guidance document / explanations after or as a revision.
This bundle of resources includes some support for mid to low students, alongside refinement of brighter students.
Command words / what is wanted / assessment type / example marks available.
Support question example template
How to draw a graph / identify variables from table / graph
Maths in Biology + examples (AQA mainly)
The resource pack includes 5 power points, these power points include:
Structure of gas exchange system
Ecosystems, food chains and food webs
Pyramids of numbers and biomass
Pyramids of energy
Nutrient cycles
Nitrogen cycle
Things to include or not covered in this resource is quadrats and methods of sampling techniques.
This should cover 1-2 weeks of learning in class, in which you can also do lung dissections to reinforce content learned.

Suitable for any As specification AQA/CIE/Edexcel.
This is quite an advanced PPT beyond the specification, but was well received by students.
You may need to simplify some steps relevant to the spec you are teaching.
