Note to send home with Reading Games

Game matching 2 and 3 word captions using alphabet (not Q) letters only. A good bridge between reading words and moving onto reading sentences (I use between RWI Group C and Ditty). I laminate and use in class and send home for additional reading practise.

Game to play matching RWI Set 1 Sounds (including Special Friends) and Set 2 sounds ee oo. I laminate these to send home each half term as additional reading support. Easier/Harder Games available.

Writing Assessment to track Name writing, sound writing, letter formation and caption/sentence writing. Progression of skills in document and various versions of assesment to ensure when children work together they can not copy.

Game to cut up and children match simple sentence to a picture. Game includes some red/tricky words and Set 1 (alphabet sounds). Easier/Harder games also available. I have laminated these and send home for additional practise alongside reading books.
