If you use this resource please let me know what you think! Print these slides off in colour and spread them around the room, students can then collect information from the sheet about the different genetically engineered organisms. I think this is a good activity to illustrate the wide variety of ways that organisms can be genetically engineered.

I have used some of the fantastic diagrams produced by QueenOfTheLab and added some more detail and annotation as this is my first run through teaching A2 Biology. I talked these complicated processes through with my year 13s whilst they added notes and annotated their copies of the diagrams. I thought that by sharing this, it may save another newbie A2 Biology teacher from doing the same!

Again thanks to QueenOfTheLab for the diagrams. Starter - Print the non-cyclic slide onto card and cut out all of the various components. The students then arranged the cards from memory, add the arrows in where appropriate. Main - Students follow the PowerPoint and annotate their handouts. This really helps the students with their understanding as it is presented in manageable chunks! Plenary - A range of questions to answer on the content covered so far. I hope this will save someone a job... Especially if like me, this is your first time around teaching A2 biology!

I used this for a lunchtime revision session with my sixth form. I printed the first slide in A3 and then we through the slides as they filled they sheets in. They seemed to find it really helpful and have asked me to produce more so I will upload as I make them!

Not a fabulous lesson however, as there doesn't seem to much else on here, I thought I would post. It may save somebody some time somewhere. Cauliflower cloning worksheets can be found elsewhere on TES or elsewhere online. I hope it helps!

A modern twist on a traditional storyboard showing natural selection using the example of a tiger. Students cut out the mobile phones and stick them in the correct order. They then draw a point to support each statement.

Please review! I used this activity to accompany a circus of activities relating to EM waves. I used it for a year 10 BTEC class. The sheets can be placed by each activity and can then be used later in the lesson. For example, I mixed them up and get students to place them in order of how dangerous they are, you can then draw upon the wavelength and frequency of waves illustrated at the bottom of each page. I hope you enjoy, I am not a physics specialist so be kind!
