These tasks are linked to Learning Aim C - C2 specifically. Students will use the theory from lessons to independently fill the sheets either on computers or printed versions, recapping the advantages and disadvantages/ risks and benefits of enterprise.

This is a nice introduction to macro economics and a good session for students who are thinking of taking economics at A level or GCSE. The PowerPoint is designed as a conversation starter - used to introduce the macro objectives and discuss what they mean/their importance. The A3 sheet can be filled out separately or during the discussions. Ideally in groups to encourage sharing of ideas and a group work element to the session (rather than one sided teacher talk). The main interaction will come from teacher examples and highlighting the macro objectives in real world application/scenarios to get students engaged,

This is a task for students to complete around the topics included in Learning aim D. This task can run for a few lessons and provides an opportunity for independent work and application of theory for students regarding the Unit 1 exam content.

This is a task for year 12 students to introduce Theme 4 content. The tasks require independent learning but will enable teaching of the course to begin quicker in year 13 as students have a base knowledge of one of the key concepts - Globalisation. There are essay questions at the end to recap some Theme 2 topics and to introduce 25 mark essays.
