Every now and then, I like to celebrate pupils' great efforts in presenting their work neatly. These little certificates take almost no time to complete and are sent home with the pupil on the day to share. Use them however you want.

At my school we advocate these 5 main things for children to include to make a basic sentence. As they progress, we reinforce that these are the minimum criteria and teach ways to add to them by using adjectives, similes, adverbs etc. I made this simple poster for classes to display.
