These revision notes include all of the content for Chemistry paper 1 from the new AQA specification. They include some examples for the more mathematical topics as well as descriptions for all the Required Practicals included on Paper 1. The notes are 53 pages long, but could be printed 2 or 4 to a page to make them into a shorter booklet for pupils to revise from.

A set of questions using the equation v^2 = u^2 + 2as which pupils are required to use for AQA GCSE Physics. These questions involve rearranging equations so would be better suited to a higher ability class. Answers included.

A card sort that fits with the changes to the terminology from energy types to energy stores on both the new KS3 curriculum and GCSE specification. Pupils can cut out and match up the names, descriptions and images demonstrating an object with each energy store. The names, descriptions and images are jumbled on the sheet so that it can be given to pupils as it is and they can cut it out themselves.

Included are revision cards for pupils to use which can be printed so they have a question on the front with the matching answer on the back. Also included is a powerpoint with primarily multiple choice questions to check whether the pupils have learnt the facts on the revision cards. An answer sheet for pupils to record their answers to the multiple choice questions is included along with an answer sheet containing the actual answers for the powerpoint questions. These revision resources cover the content for the AQA Physics Paper 1, which is very similar to the AQA Combined Science Trilogy Physics Paper 1 content.

Using this document you can create a scale model of the solar system (you will also need a way to measure out the distances up to 45m). Included are the images of each planet and a comment describing how big they would be on this scale (between 2cm and 0.01mm). There is also a guide for you to use as the teacher to tell the pupils how far apart the planets will be on this scale. This would work best on a school field where the pupils have room to stretch the full 45m. This is a useful activity for communicating to pupils the size of the solar system compared to our tiny little planet.
