How to use the resource: Teaching resource - get students to deconstruct the model essay and draw out the writing frame which you reveal at the end Teaching resource - get students to compare thier answer to this past question to the model answer so they can reflect on their work better Revision tool Exam crash course resource - approaching essays Scaffolding tool for homework or assessments Literacy tool for in class differentiation I would expect this to take up to two lessons Students can then copy up/use the printed writing frame to refer back to when practicing all other essays - particularly useful for students who struggle with writing concisely under timed conditions.
