Students will: Analyse different logos used within packaging design Understand the different types of nets Create designs for their own animal mascot which represents their brand Create a final 3D net cereal box design Create a story board advertisement to advertise their final product.

Learning targets linked to each lesson objective of AQA art and design. Targets can be used within teacher marking along with student peer and self assessments. Teacher write the code, students find the code and write the target next to teacher/peer marking.

Excel Template to help record and track student progress within each Assessment objective. The spreadsheet has been formulated to add up each assessment objective in line with Edexcel weightings. The total score can used against the latest boundaries to make a grade judgement.

To support with the NCFE Graphic Design Unit 1 delivery, I have created a digital powerpoint presentation that covers the responses for task 1 and 2. Students will be required to adapt the resource, finding their own images and information. Powerpoints to go alongside making the final folder will follow. For tasks 2 students will be required to experiment with each component either physically or digitally and enter their experiments into the appropriate slides. Students will place mini reviews for (task 3) next to each experiment.

A booklet which acts as both a knowledge organiser and a marking/progress tracker. Currently used with Btec Art and Design students with their unit 1 ‘Growth and Decay’ projects.

The following A4 worksheet acts as a knowledge organiser handed to students at the start of the unit. Key bullet points for each of the 6 components (Colour, tone, line, composition, typography and imagery) are included from the delievery assessment guide to support students when conducting independant research.
