I suggest using this as a task to get students to find and highlight where they are happening in the paragraph before attempting their own. A resource to guide students when comparing the two exam texts with a particular focus on analysis and context. Can be then used to plan and write more sophisticated essays. One row filled in already to act as example and guidance.

This is a lesson to help students prepare before the exam. The open book aspect can be hard as many students struggle with finding quotes to analyse in their copies of the texts and still have time to write a good essay. A series of differentiated homework tasks to do with An Inspector Calls in the style of a Nandos takeaway menu. Tasks are varied in style and skill and cover all essential AOs.
