Music: Football World Cup [Three Lions / It's Coming Home]

(0)
This standalone project for Garageband (Mac OS) involves pupils recording the different components of “It’s Coming Home (Three Lions)” to create a finished track. Suitable for pupils in Y6 - Y9 (ages 10-14) The project is in the key of D major (not the original Eb), making it slightly more accessible for young musicians, but slightly harder than using C major. Pupils will record against the audio track, which has had the bassline and chords removed from certain sections. Already reviewed by Year 8s who said “this is actually good fun” and “it was challenging, but when I got bored I could switch to trying to learn a different part.” All the information the pupil needs is in the Notepad area of Garageband. The download includes: Garageband file png and pdf files of the sheet music extracts if you would like to make worksheets or powerpoint presentations.
