A worksheet aimed at helping pupils to plan out a commentary to support their Task 2 products for Component 1 of the 2022 Spec BTEC Tech Award in Music Practice. I have used this as a cover resource and in lesson and it has been an effective planning tool for pupils.

Reading tasks included, but when I use this, I usually print the slides with the music on to give to pupils as they work from a booklet. A set of 7 lessons, a reading task and an assessment paper for Blues Music aimed at Y7. Have used this myself for many years and it has always worked really well to develop skills and pupils have usually had a lot of fun with it. Reading examples are within as are practical resources.
