Art Single Lesson Cover Sheets

There are 13 sheets here that I use with KS3 and year 10. These can be set as cover or used as a reteach for scale, proportion, tone or pattern. Lots are linked to artists, encouraging breadth. They are a simple format, many with PI’s. They have been tried and tested with some excellent results.

Full Textiles Sock Creature Scheme of Work with 7-8 lessons. Fully planned with learner examples.

A comprehensively planned, full scheme of work for new or experienced textiles teachers. I have often been complimented on my easy to follow planning and so I thought I would share my 20-year experience with others. This scheme is 7- 8 lessons long, perfect for a rotation, club or mini project. It includes learning objectives, challenge, modelled examples, examples of learners outcomes, an artist focus on Ruth Turnbull and printable documents to support learning. Sock creatures are also perfect for budget cuts due to the low expense. The scheme focuses on designing, artist analysis, practical ability, retrieval practice (which can be starters/ plenaries) and a literacy script, focusing on literacy and careers. It really does cover all bases needed for a well balances, planned and sequenced curriculum. I taught this as a year 8 project but it can be easily targeted towards year 7 or 9.
