Frida Kahlo was a Mexican painter who explored themes of identity, disability and nature in her work. She was famous for her many self-portraits where she showed herself exactly as she was, not how other women were usually shown in art.

A knowledge organiser about the American artist Andy Warhol. Aimed at UKS2, this contains facts about Warhol’s style and examples of his most famous pieces. Warhol was a key figure in the Pop Art movement and his work has been heavily imitated ever since. His legacy makes him an essential part of the primary school curriculum.
