This Y3 literacy lesson based on the Stig of the dump story was deemed to be outstanding during my last observation. Features include lots of AFL and Kagan activities. This pack includes notebook slides, differentiated tasks and resources and planning sheet.

A full week of planning ready for Roald Dahl week. The planning is based around "The Twits" and is aimed a LKS1 but could easily be differentiated up or down. Included are differentiated activity ideas, main teaching, Kagan Cooperative structures, and plenaries. I recently got an outstanding when observed completing the following setting description lesson. The weeks planning was based on a scene from the filmJumanji. The build up of the week was for children to describe a stampede scene in detail. Although planned for Y3, this could easily be used further up or down school.
