Based on the SHORS comprehension strategies, these posters have a visual and a child-friendly explanation of each strategy. Can be used with any text and across most stages.

Mustard and mayo literacy/English & numeracy/maths task boards/choice boards, promoting independence and developing time management. If you came from Instagram, these are the NEWEST VERSION. In my class, this would be 3-4 lesson’s worth of independent activities. Mustard jobs MUST be done, mayo jobs MAY be done. Any unfinished mustard become ketchup on a Friday (catch up) during pickles (choosing time). I have left in an example or two. Most activities are differentiated on the resource using Chilli Challenges.
