Knowledge organiser aimed at year 11 students preparing for their writing exams. It models high level structures and shows strategies aimed at helping students to expand their written language.

This was designed for year 11 Higher level students to give them an idea of the sorts of linguisitic strategies which would be considered “high level”, therefore “high band” language in the writing exam. This was specifically aimed at the AQA mark scheme but the language strategies shown would be transferable.

A quick “go to” guide for Foundation students of the requirements of the 90 word essay; At least 2 time frames and justified opinion.
