I designed this PPT and worksheet (on the last 2 slides) to be used in partnership with the PKC planning for year 2 on The Human Body - lesson 4, The Circulatory System. (Only, I have changed the Task outlined on the plan) The slides run through the lesson plan, describing each part of the circulatory system, suggests an interactive activity (for children to complete on ipads) and has a worksheet at the end to consolidate learning. There are also 2 links to videos that are suitable for year 2 children (I found a lot of resources for this topic were aimed at year 6 children, that’s why I decided to make my own one) I have included the step for depth too on a slide towards the end. I have tried to make this PPT as simple as possible - I hope you enjoy using it with your class! Please do feedback and let me know how you got on! (There is one slide that says ‘Bye Robins’ - feel free to remove this one! It’s just some of our children leave the lesson at this point!)

3 weeks worth of planning based on the abridged version of ‘The Secret Garden’ by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Most of the resources you need are included. Children will be exposed to various writing outcomes. Children explore the setting, the characters, the plot and then at the end they write a descriptive piece of writing about their very own secret garden. I used this with my year 3 class. The abridged version of the story is also included as a PDF.

3 weeks worth of planning for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, with an extended newspaper report writing outcome at the end. Children will explore the text and be exposed to many different writing opportunities throughout this unit. Please feel free to adapt to suit the needs of your chidlren! All resources made by me have been included - others mentioned will need to searched for on TES or Twinkl.
