This resource is for Component 1 (Christianity and Islam) WJEC Eduqas New Spec The Powerpoint (45 pages) consists of a number of visual mindmaps for each of the four topics. The front page also includes the compulsory keywords for the students to fill in and an overview of the key teachings/references for the topic area. This can be printed off as a revision booklet. The word document (23 pages) includes summarised Christian and Muslim teachings for each mindmap, with a challenge activity for higher ability students. The students can either cut and stick onto the mindmaps or write them out next to each image. Towards the end of the booklet are practise 15 mark question statements, an overall summary of teachings/topic areas and some quick revision questions. I have found this resource particularly useful for visual learners/SEND and lower ability. Summarising the keypoints into smaller chunks is also a helpful strategy for the borderline students.

44 page booklet on all areas of Islam Beliefs and Practices to be used independently with a range of activities for all levels - wordsearch, crossword, matching, visual, comprehension, quick check, true and false, interpreting quotes, exam practise, correcting example responses etc. Does refer to use of the textbook for some activities. Can also be used as starters for lessons. Good for borderline students/as a homework book.

All lessons include a starter, notes that are dual coded with pictures, challenge questions, activities, guided note templates and exam practise with support. Easy for a non-specialist to pick this up from the Powerpoint. Also included is a 10 and 20 marker Word template the students can use for exam questions and various other templates.

71 slides of revision for Route A RS Eduqas. Includes summarized and condensed beliefs for all topics in component 1 and the beliefs section of Christianity and Islam. Green statements are for those who need challenge. I gave all students a copy of this as a booklet to refer to when revising in class/homework for assessments and before the exam.

Full Power Point (116 slides) and resource sheets covering all lessons in the Relationships unit (ethical studies in the modern world) for RS Eduqas Route A. Resources in include: a topic overview, all lessons with exam practise throughout, resource sheets, support and challenge boxes, definitions of compulsory 2 markers, variety of learning activities and assessment at the end. Some parts will need access to the Hodder book which can be accessed online for free. Easy for a non-specialist to pick up.

Used for Sociology A.Q.A. G.C.S.E. Useful to be used alongside the Collins Sociology for G.C.S.E. book (Wilson and Kidd), pages referenced in the booklet. Wide range of activities suitable for different revision techniques from word searches, cross words, gap fills, practice exam questions, mini test, quizzes, self assessment, exam techniques, keyword lists, etc. Really helped to bump up my borderline C/D students Used as a homework booklet for the whole year. Please note: this booklet is designed for students to work in with a variety of activities, there is some content given but they will need a Sociology textbook to work with alongside this booklet.

Powerpoint focusing on difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships. Partner auction starter which gets students thinking about what they may look for in a partner. Discussion activity about what an ‘ideal’ relationship is. Sorting sheet with a number of statements to sort into healthy Vs unhealthy. A visual mindmap with images/memes to help remember some key studies from the Education unit. The first two slides should be printed onto A3. The following slides contain short summaries of the key studies for education to write into the mindmap. This worked great with my class for memory retention as they could link the study with the picture. It also meant I could test their knowledge using just the pictures.

Set of 150 quick-check questions that students can test themselves on before the exam/as a homework activity. For the topics of: Education, Family and Research Methods. Answers not included but will be found in the Rob Webb book.
