A half term unit of PE planning for either Pre-School or Reception. This unit focuses on small aparatus such as balls, quoits, hoops and beanbags also incorporating floor based movements to develop gross motor skills and core stability. The unit has 7 lessons but depending on how much time you dedicate to each session it could also be spread out across 10/11 sessions. Plans are detailed enough for support staff to implement as part of an intervention group too.

Gymnastics planning for Pre-School, can also be used for Reception. 4 sessions focusing on basic gymnastic shapes such as tucks, rolls and jumps and working on core stability also. A variety of instruction, practise and games to develop key physical skills.
