This is a 12 slide PowerPoint lesson on basic composition techniques in Photography: rule of thirds, balancing elements, symmetry & patterns, viewpoint, backgrounds, depth, framing, negative space & experimentation. I use it with my year 12 Photography A Level students, but it would be equally useful for GCSE level. The final slide features a composition photography task.

A 13 slide Powerpoint looking at how to expose photos correctly. The final slide introduces a main task. I use this as part of a series of intro lessons with my Year 12 students but would work equally well at GCSE level.
