This series of powerpoint slides will increase the quality attained in responses to this question. Slides can be used within lessons to develop the understanding of students towards language, or studied independently by students. I have included a sound working definition, a breakdown of the most beneficial language features and a methology that will be straightforward for students to learn and practise. This is the first in my ‘The Optimiser’ series I would love feedback from teachers using this slide and ideas about how I might further develop the presentation.
