These A3 posters outline the common features and elements found in the Gothic Genre. They are a great compliment to a Gothic Genre unit, studied in year 9, 10 or 11. Displayed on your classroom walls, students will be able to have a quick and easy guide to the features of the Gothic Genre. These posters help students to learn the common elements, identify them in Gothic texts, and have the language to articulate their ideas when discussing Gothic texts. There are eight posters, covering the following features: setting, atmosphere, visions, supernatural, emotions, characters, metonymy, and vocabulary.
