Structures : Wooden chassis Mars rover using Crumble
A STEM project
6 lessons involving 1x Research, 1 x generate ideas and practise key skills, 3x make and 1x evaluate
Children will create a Mars Rover using wooden structure and combine this with Crumble controller to make the rover move and also programme sparkles.
Structure skills: include measuring and sawing using butt and mitre joins. strengthening corners and fixing axles and wheels.
Crumble skills: programme motors and sparkle
Design: Decide on a specification to meet the needs of the audience and purpose.
