A task for students learning at EL3-FS1, looking at writing a blog titled: The lion King - A modern day Hamlet? Pupils watch a short video from YouTube discussing the similarities and differences and then create a blog on their ideas and opinions. The worksheet is scaffolded with a planning the blog section with a set structure and then a writing section with sentence starters. This also includes a task board. This was designed to help my Post 16 SEMH students, in preperation for writing a blog in their Step up to Gold exams.

Hi, Here is my planning for KS1-2 English that I use for Autumn 1. I’m sure it can be adapted to suit your students needs and abilities. This includes Learning objectives activities and resources checklists. I have included a few worksheets also that I have created but the other resources needed are fairly generic.
