Unit of work on Graphic Communication

(1)
A full unit of work based on Graphic Design on PowerPoint slides that include learning objectives, key words, home learning, steps to success and extension tasks. There are 22 slides in total. Each slide is a series of lessons that may take 2-3 lessons each. There are links to useful websites. There are options for digital work if possible at your centre or hand-drawn options. The first 7 slides are typography related exercises to warm them up. There are worksheets to print out for the students to complete and use. The next 7 slides are based around logo design with print outs and useful websites. Then it moves onto packaging design with nets and worksheets to print out and finally onto combining the logo with the packaging designs. Each section has an evaluation worksheet to complete. I hope you enjoy using this PowerPoint and will leave me some positive feedback. Thank you for purchasing it.

This is a short PowerPoint that explains in detail how to analyse an artist’s work and how to annotate your own work effectively. There are examples of how to set this out with images and prompt questions to answer. This resource can be used for any age group but is particularly effective for GCSE and A Level students. There is a good link to a website that I have taken some of the information from. The website has a very clear outline of each stage.
