So she looked for opportnities to be involved in the music industry. She talks about the lifelong friends she has made because they played together. 'I always take a job because I&'m interested in doing it, not worried about where it&';s going to lead me'.

Fresia Campbell is a Facilities Manager for Lewisham Council. She looks after buildings and the security and cleaning contracts. She is also responsible for the Health and Safety Regulations. She has had a varied career and started in the Cabinet Office at 16 and also worked in adrenelin fueled finance. Her passion is to work with the community. She keeps on learning even though she left school 30 years ago. Oustside work she is a foster carer and would like to work with a young people's community project.

Jonathan Taylor works in the International Forest Policy Team at the Forestry Commission. 'Last year I got to go to China, and I got to hold a panda'. He says the best side of his work is 'when you see actually the benefit that all those policies have, and how they then impact on people, and really try to make a difference to people's lives and to management of forests'.

'The delight of watching young people, who previously didn't have the opportunities to achieve, is just something you can&'t put a price on.' He always wanted to be a professional sportsman, and went to Loughborough to do post-grad in physical education. He says 'the competitive energies that used to go into sport go into making sure that the kids get a good deal out of the school.'

When she was working for a local newspaper she felt that she was often intruding on people&'s privacy, and this is why she now works for the police instead.
