I have created a stand alone lesson suitable for an end of term lesson that teaches students about the history of Halloween in a religious and cultural context. There is room for some interesting discussion about the cultural appropriation of Halloween costumes and the general controversy surrounding its celebration in some cultures.
Here is a lesson I made that is appropriate for KS3/4 learners to provide an overview of Christian beliefs related to Easter along with a lighthearted quiz at the beginning, questions to assess learning and understanding throughout, and an activity at the end to summarise learning.
