Humanism Prediction Activity

(0)
This activity is perhaps a mid-unit activity to reflect on Humanism and the big bang theory. The idea is the children before doing anything are to predict if the statements are true or false. They will then watch a video that addresses all of these statements and they can expand on whether they are true or false in sentences. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaWCDihlK5Y

Finding 2D Shapes in Our Environment

(0)
This resource acts as a scavenger hunt type of activity. The children will be pro-active in finding things in their area of different 2D shapes. This is differentiated. The first one provides more support with already given images of items they can identify the shape of, and then space for them to find their own. The next challenge gets children to find their own shapes and recall the name and the amount of sides. The additional challenge again is for learners to find their own shapes, the name, the number of sides and number of corners, allowing their learning to be stretched by utilising the use of appropriate language.
