This was a lesson on Quadrats for a Yr8 set 1 class. All resources required are included. The quadrat task I printed on A3 paper and the quadrats on acetate.

This lesson was for a Yr 10 set triple science group, but could easily be adapted over two lesson for a lower group.

DO NOT prepare nitrogen triiodide without undertaking a sufficient risk assessment of the method. If you do prepare nitrogen triiodide I recommend practising the demo before using it with pupils. I have provided a video clip if you are unsuccessful in preparing the demo or you don't have a functioning fume cupboard.
