This set of resources helps to guide teachers through the marking of LO1, LO2 and LO3. Each LO Guide takes you through exemplar material and how to grade and annotate it. This resource is ideal for teachers new to the Certificate and for those wishing to undertake CPD. Depending on the size of your cohort, I recommend marking and annotating student work electronically. About the author: I’ve been teaching WJEC Criminology Certificate and Diploma since 2017, I have undertaken regular WJEC training since then and have collaborated with and supported other centres in the marking process.

This is a 50 minute video tutorial that takes students through the process of making their campaign materials for AC3.2. It’s designed for both teachers and students to work with when making their ‘Practice’ materials for the controlled assessment. It covers how to make: Logos Posters Flyers/leaflets Websites Social Media posts Merchandise Students will need access to Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Images in order to follow and interact with the tutorials. It can be paused to allow students time to practice using the techniques and software covered in the video. Note to teachers: If you have no experience of delivering this AC or your media/design skills are a little rusty, then this is a must.
