Great recap activity for all Secondary school age groups. There are 6 different crosswords, with answers on a separate document. Some crossword are intentionally simpler, for example the to Y10 crosswords are designed as one for Higher and one for Foundation tier. An excellent resource for promoting Mathematical Literacy, including spelling, writing numbers as words, and understanding mathematical definitions.

A nice task on interpretation of data. Is every piece of information useful? How does it inform our understanding? Is there any further information we should know? Follows on from the Euro 2020 tournament, and gets students to think about whether ‘Stats leaders’ are really the best in that respective element, or if we need to dig a little deeper. Could be nice to be presented as a poster or PPT to share with their peers.
