This is a booklet that will help with the teaching of Component 1 BTEC Performing Arts, new theme of Hope (Jan 2024-May 2024) Page 4-11 are recall tasks to be used at the beginning of lessons/workshops The rest of the booklet will assist in the collection of evidence for the final portfolio. The learners can also use the Educational Support Pack to help with their portfolio. I’ve also created a Knowledge Organiser (see resource shop) to support the lower ability learners.

A booklet and PPT which can be used Sept-Dec before component 1(around 20 lessons)before the PSA is released in Jan. Each lesson has a recall and it links clearly with the PPT. Really easy to use. Focusing on different job roles and how the different people all work together to create the professional piece of work. (Task 2 of the PSA)

Workbook and Lesson PPT using the theme of Dance in the Media (mainly adverts). This includes 6 lessons. The project looks at how dance is used in adverts and how it can reach so many people. Students are encouraged to choose a product to advertise, choose a job role and create their own advert using dance. Work is linked to the TEEP programme of teaching and learning

Fosse 6 lesson PPT and Booklet linked with the new GCSE AQA 2016 specification. The SOW uses the theme of Fosse to encourage the development of choreography skills which are needed for the GCSE specification. PPT and Booklet are based on the TEEP programme.

This a step by step in instructions on how to answer question 3 for AQA English Language Paper 1. Good for low ability and intervention groups.

This can be for Key Stage 3 Dance/students who have opted for Dance GCSE as a preparation project/Homework project/Home-learning project. There is a list of important choreographers/dance artists with links to support the research project. Students to complete their research in any format or it can be specified.

A simple Tik Tok themed homework sow which could also be used for homeschool as well. Each week the students are given a link with step by step instructions for a popular Tik Tok video with some dance related questions leading up to the student creating their own Tik Tok dance.

A booklet and lesson powerpoint which takes the students through the task, aimed at lower ability students for AQA English Language Paper 1. This could also be used for homelearning.
