KS2/3 - Describing turn using angles

(2)
This activity allows the student to follow directions given as angles and direction of turn, and allows them to also describe movement through these methods also. Through following the instructions, they collect objects around the map by following the initial instructions, then have to write their own instructions to make it to the cave of treasures. This activity gives practice of clockwise and anti clockwise turns in multiples of 90 degrees. There is also exposure to amounts of turn greater than 360 degrees.
