5 lessons including an introduction to the decade, worksheet to accompany Andrew Marr’s episode 4 documentary ‘Revolution’ from the series The History of Modern Britain & 4 subsequent lessons: Toxteth Riots, The Falklands War, The Miners’ Strike & LGBTQ+. There’s a radicalometer task for the students to complete at the end of each session so an overview & comparison can be made, and students can answer the overarching question: Did the 1980s radically change Britain?
