This is a GCSE and functional skills level quiz that is composed of fifty excellent multiple choice questions. This quiz is a good practical test for a class or learning group, and helps prepare students to be able to answer standard form questions in GCSE and functional skills exams. The questions help the learners approach and understand the topic of standard form numbers from three different perspectives, namely, Given a number in standard form, the student is asked to convert it to an ordinary number, Given an ordinary number, the student is asked to convert it into a standard form number, Given a random number written in exponential form, the student is asked to rewrite the number in standard form (to conform to the standard form rules).
