This application uses Excel to simulate and investigate capacitor discharge. It will allow you to quickly gather data on capacitor discharge. Students can control and enter values for Capacitance, Resistance and Charging p.d. and the simulation will then calculate values of Capacitor p.d. Provision is also made within the sheet to produce the discharge graph. One tab introduces a possible student investigation using the simulation, his will allow students to actively gain a deeper understanding of capacitor discharge and the importance of time constant. Instructions on using the simulation are provided.

This resource starts by quickly revising basic wave properties and then examines the properties and uses of ultrasound. It includes learning objectives and several activities. I can send the original documents for anyone wishing to personalise or adapt the resource.

The material is presented as clearly and simply as possible without distractors.
