I work with Older SEN student but feel that this could be something that may be viable for PE end of term activities or a team working activity.
Points are collected rather than being eliminated so that everyone is able to play all games and activities
Print and double back game cards. place cards facing down and ask students to choose a pair, if the pair are equialent fractions students keep, if not place down for anotehr student to take a turn.
This was made for some of the older students I work with but thought it might be a resource that some may find fun.
I have attached the powerpoint with sound clips and print out of the shapes etc.
For the bridge game i went to my local shop and asked for a whole host of fruit cardboard boxes which they were very kind to donate to me and wrapped them up with wrapping paper ( the students would use there foot to step on the paper and weather the box was placed upright or not wold mean if the paper would break or stay due to the cardboard)
Google helped with the sweets game and I brought some metal pots from amazon but it is basically sugar and bicarbonate of soda.

Hello, I have used this with my students to help them identify key elements in an exam and support them to identify what the question is asking htem and how many points it is worth.
Fun activity to plot and hide stars around ether inside or outside area. Students use skills learnt to find where the stars are hidden before creating there own coordinate treasure trail for others to complete.
