This was originally designed for Business Studies but could also be used for other subjects. There are a few different versions to include 'Whats the hook?', evaluations and extended essay writing. This is a PowerPoint I have used with groups to structure research. They can use the template to create a Wikipedia style description of the topic/person/object they are focusing on and then insert an image to relate to this. The second slide also allows for a description and title for the image should the image require additional information to support it. This could easily be used for other subject to structure research as well.

I have used this previously with groups as a way to get to know the students at the start of term, although it is also a useful way to get students to demonstrate their PowerPoint skills or even to use as a tool for structuring research on a person (historic or present)

It covers the key areas of Customer Service, Customer Expectations and Customer Satisfaction. Use the Powerpoint along with the two worksheets for an hours lesson- the United airline document is the news article task to show an example of how a company has provided outstanding customer service.

I have used this in lessons to get students to create timelines of events, or to help them keep a bank of keywords for any of the topics that I cover in both KS3 and KS4. I have included a tutorial on how to change the hash tags and images included on slide 1 so that they could be adapted for any topic or subject.

A lesson to introduce students to binary numbers, showing why binary is used by computers and how to write denary numbers in binary. Also includes an interactive starter to engage students by developing their understanding of a number guessing game through correct use of binary.
